A home for your screenshots Search the words inside Saved on your iPhone

From “save that”
to “found it.”

The recipe you meant to make. The place you want to go. Give your everyday discoveries a place to land.

01 / CATCH A GOOD FIND

Share it. Keep it.

Send a screenshot to Screencatcher from the iPhone Share sheet. Save it to Inbox or choose a Space. You can also import from Photos.

02 / A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING

Make a little Space.

Keep recipes, trip ideas, and inspiration in their own collections. Make each Space yours with a color, icon, or supported Image Playground artwork.

03 / FIND THE LITTLE DETAILS

Let the words lead you.

Search text recognized inside your captures, right on your device. New screenshots are indexed when you next open the app.

Keep what matters

A little less clutter.
A little more room.

Some things are keepers. Others are just for now. Choose what works for each Space.

  • Keep captures forever by default.
  • Set optional auto declutter for Inbox or a custom Space.
  • See a quiet countdown as a capture’s deadline approaches.
  • Recover deleted captures from Recently Deleted for 30 days.
  • Pick up where you left off, with your Space and search remembered.

A few things to know.

Does Screencatcher organize my Photos automatically?

No. Choose which images to share to Screencatcher, or import them with the system Photos picker. The app keeps its own library and does not monitor Photos in the background.

Where are my screenshots stored?

Captures and recognized text are stored on your device. This version has no account or cloud sync. Text recognition runs on your iPhone.

Will deleting a capture remove it from Photos?

No. Screencatcher’s library is separate from Photos. Deleting a capture here leaves any Photos copy untouched.

How does auto declutter work?

Choose a retention period from 1 to 3,650 days for Inbox or a custom Space, or keep captures forever. When a capture expires, it moves to Recently Deleted, with 30 days of recovery from its retention deadline. Cleanup happens when the app runs, rather than at an exact time while it is closed.
